the challenge:

Cami Monet was previously using Flodesk and feeling overwhelmed by email.

solutions

  • Since Cami was using Shopify, a migration from Flodesk to Klaviyo was a no brainer. This opened up her email strategy to include more timely automations with dynamic customer and product data. And since they had a list of 17,000+ subscribers we created a strategy to warm her sending domain: We segmented her full list into 4 smaller lists, then provided guidance in sending her first campaign through Klaviyo to these 4 different lists over a few days.

  • Cami Monet has a strong visual identity to her brand and we came up with a template that suited the playful nature of the brand.

  • In addition to migrating platforms, we made a huge overhaul to Cami Monet’s foundational flows (Welcome, Browse, Cart Abandon). We included storytelling, dynamic product feeds and customer data to increase engagement and overall brand authority.

  • Cami Monet planned to manage their email channel after our project was over. So I made sure to include tutorials for her templates, flows, and segments so that they felt comfortable with Klaviyo and confident that they could create campaigns on the fly.

RESULTS

Additionally, benchmarks across the board are looking strong for Cami Monet with a 73% Open Rate, 2.45% Conversion Rate, and 8.7% Click Rate.

After migrating to Klaviyo, one of our biggest concerns was making sure Cami Monet started her Klaviyio journey on the right foot and we succeeded! Their Bounce Rate was below 1%, Unsubs below 0.30%, Spam Complaints below 0.01%.

CONCLUSION

Moving to Klaviyo was a game-changer for Cami Monet! Not only did we achieve stellar deliverability rates (under 1% bounce rate is incredible), but we also crushed industry benchmarks with those amazing open and click rates. With proper training and templates in place, Cami is now set up for long-term success managing her own email marketing.
